Course: Advanced HME Workshop
Location: Southern Nevada
Length: 5-days

Audience: Bomb technicians, HazMat technicians, Investigators, Intelligence
No security clearance requirements
Frequency: 4-6 times per year (open enrollment); on demand (organization exclusive)
Overview: Hands-on instruction on urea nitrate, ammonium nitrate, peroxides, and chlorates. Topics include-- identification by Raman/FTIR (Ahura instrumentation), manufacturing footprint recognition, sample collection, disposal, and blast effects. TATP sensitivity and safe handling are also emphasized. Up to 100-lbs NEW.

Frequency: on demand (organization exclusive) Overview: Classroom and range instruction including scenario-based field training exercises focused on preventing and counteracting the manufacture of various IEDs and HME including: TNT, DNT, RDX, PETN, NG, EGDN, urea nitrate, ammonium nitrate, peroxides, and chlorates. Topics include-- identification and detection technologies, manufacturing footprint recognition, strategic investigation, dual-use materials, and countermeasures.

Overview: Building sweeps and room clearing for bomb technicians supporting SWAT/SOF operations. CQB and tactical operations in a contaminated environment or hazardous atmosphere.
  Course: Raman & FTIR Skills for HME Identification
Location: Various CONUS
Length: 6-hrs
Class size: 45
Audience: Bomb technicians, HazMat technicians, Investigators, Crime scene analysts
No security clearance requirements
Frequency: 10-12 times per year
Overview: Hands-on classroom activities and instruction on use of Ahura FD Raman and TruDefender FTIR technologies for identification of HME and hazardous materials. Real-world skills and techniques to provide on-scene analysis of unknown materials.
